Spawn/Batman
Spawn and Batman are getting back together.
During the Todd McFarlane panel this afternoon, DC exec editor made his way to the front of the line for questions to make official a new Spawn-Batman project. The contracts were signed just before the panel and the project will be out by the end of the year. McFarlane and Greg Capullo will be the creative team, Didio will edit for DC and the project will be published jointly by Image and DC.
The project also will include a Spawn-Batman statue that will be based on designs by Capullo.
McFarlane says the story will focus on the difference between Batman and Spawn, characters he sees as opposites. "I've had this story in my head for years."
