Tubeys Early Favorite for Dumbest TV Awards

Bravo's Televisionwithoutpity.com just put out an announcement regarding the latest "Tubey Awards," a name that frankly sounds kind of dirty.

I've always liked the name "Television without pity," though I still sort of pity the fools that have to promote this sort of stuff.

Still, given its parentage, I look forward to the award for "Worst performance by a cable network in sponsoring fame-seeking wannabes -- then being coy about it -- as they go about the process of (allegedly) crashing a White House state dinner."

NEW YORK – July 13, 2010 – Bravo's TelevisionWithoutPity.com, the popular website for TV junkies, unveils this year's edition of The Tubey Awards, a unique opportunity for fans to choose the best, worst, most improved and craziest characters, series, moments and more from the 2009-2010 television season.
