GameBoy Gets More Than Games
Nintendo's GameBoy Advance isn't just for video games any more. A new video compression developed by Majesco will let television stations record 45-minutes of color video onto a single cartridge, which is compatible with the world's number one selling handheld gaming device.
Majesco has teamed with Nickelodeon to produce its initial run of shows: SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, The Fairly OddParents, a compilation collection of all three, and a All Grown Up.
There will also be a DVD-style control panel built into the system, giving viewers the option to skip through to different chapters.
