EA's Creative Office Profiled

The San Jose Mercury News has a profile of Bing Gordon, the chief creative officer at Electronic Arts -- the 900-lb gorilla of the video game world.

This is a company that long ago decided that video games were simply the least path of resistance into the world of entertainment. It's important to follow what they do, because they will likely drag much of the industry with them in their wake as they plow through Hollywood and the music industry.

This company wants to have both a music label and a film division. And, while that's scary for game developers (because how can you compete), it's also quite fascinating to watch the evolution of the game industry.
