20 So long and thanks for all the fish: The one where HAL says goodbye

Hi, all. This post isn't really a post -- it's the last post for HAL.

I really enjoyed collecting the links, and the writing, but as the blog's increasing (in)frequency will testify, there isn't enough time to do it.

However, we're reinvigorating two other Variety.com blogs, The Cut Scene and Technotainment, with veteran reporter Chris Morris. He starts blogging tomorrow (Thursday, May 21).
