Regulation

Would you trust the MPAA or the RIAA with your handbag?

Handbags_2_2Thank God my purse is safe from regulation. BagBunch imagines a world in which the handbag industry adopts the philosophies of the Recording Industry Association of America and the Motion Picture Association of America. Shortly, we'd see the Handbag Industry Association of America "launch an aggressive litigation campaign, suing thousands of women for sharing their handbags.... Handbags would only work in one country. All of a handbag's contents would fall from the bottom at a border crossing, or while on an international flight." Furthermore, the Handbag Rights Management tool would only allow a purse to be worn with a single outfit; if you changed clothes, the purse wouldn't work. [BagBunch, via Wired]
