"The Office": Good, clean Scranton fun

Now this sounds like fun. An "Office" convention this weekend in Scranton, Pa.? Surprised somebody didn't think of it sooner. Per this AP report, a host of cast members and writers (but not Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson or Jenna Fischer) are winging in for the Friday-Sunday event.

Al Roker is set to cover part of the event live Friday morning for Peacock's "Today" will broadcast live from the University of Scranton on Friday.

"The show has been the vehicle by which we can tell our story, and cities rarely get that opportunity," says Scranton Mayor Chris Doherty, who counts himself as an "Office" fan.
