"Countdown with Keith Olbermann": A poem by John Cleese
This really made me laugh.
It's "I've come for an argument"/"How to walk silly"/"This parrot has ceased to be" funny. It's a poem about a certain TV journo, penned by John Cleese and delivered with aplomb by Keith Olbermann on tonight's edition of MSNBC's "Countdown."
(As usual, my husband, who was a "Countdown" fan before "Countdown" was cool, deserves a finder's fee.)
Ode to Sean Hannity
Aping urbanity,
oozing with vanity,
plump as a manatee,
faking humanity.
Journalistic calamity,
intellectual inanity,
Fox Noise insanity.
You're a profanity, Hannity.

"East/West coast Liberal socialist agenda..." - ronfromhollywood
What planet are you from, ron? Oh yeah, Planet Hollywood!
In-Hannity has been cruising for someone to show him for the racist, warmongering, fearmongering, hate-filled slob he is. Cleese did it with finesse.

Hannity is the biggest user of hate on tv followed closely by Bill O'rielly. All directed at minorities and liberals. Add the wonderful array of hate specialists on radio led by Rush Limbaugh and the conservatives have fed off of hate for 20 years very successfully at the detriment to the United States proven by it the current condition of our country. This needs to be pointed out so people like Hannity, et al can be stopped.

Ask anyone who worked with Olbermann at ESPN: He is the biggest, I mean BIGGEST A$$HOLE IN THE WORLD. Nuff said.

i dont get it, what's news worthy here?
Obermann's snide petulance during Republican Convention?
MSNBC's tit for tat pundits? their vitriol for conservatives and each other? just like the Democratic primaries, and all things Liberal?
his failing ratings?
Fox News is growing more and more, Americans are seeing that Fox IS FAIR and BALANCED. Based on America, not on East/West coast Liberal socialist agenda.
I wish there wasn't so much of this HATE BUSH... and now... HATE PALIN... its amazing how much you HATE.
and how you think a snide poem that insults in a elementary schoolyard way, is so NEAT. or WITTY? or WORTH MENTIONING?
