Ron Howard: Opie and Andy Taylor want you to vote for Barack Obama
This pro-Barack Obama "call to action" spot from Ron Howard popped up today on FunnyOrDie.com. It features Andy Griffith and Henry Winkler -- you do the math.
Howard has always seemed to have a good sense of perspective -- and humor -- about his TV past, and it shows in this bit. Even as an Oscar winner, he's never gotten too big for Opie's britches to do the "Andy Griffith Show" reunions, etc.

Variety's Team TV -- Cynthia Littleton, Stu Levine, Jon Weisman, Andrew Wallenstein and A.J. Marechal -- provides a roundup of stories big and small, as well as opinions and analysis from across the TV dial.

Wow! All this from a guy that makes his living with people that pretend to be someone that they are not. Opie? Richie Cunningham? They are not real. Neither is the Fonz or Andy Taylor. What is real is the potential damage that the far left candidate being supported can cause. Sad, sad, sad commentary!!!

Why Opie???
Always knew you to be "strange" but to ruin your status by supporting a left-wing? Oh.. maybe I forgot you are one two.
Oh well.. Good bye to all of your participation in past family value tv..
