"Big Love" builds steam

The season-four premiere of HBO’s “Big Love” got off to a strong start Sunday.

 

More than 1.7 million viewers tuned in to see how the Henrickson clan would deal with the death of the prophet from Juniper Creek and handle their foray into the casino gaming business.

 

Total viewers represented a 49% increase (1.1 million) from the premiere of season three.

 

Cabler also announced new half-hour comedy “How to Make It in America” will launch 10 p.m. Feb. 14. Skein, which stars Bryan Greenberg and Victor Rasuk, spotlights two Brooklyn twentysomethings trying to start a career in the fashion industry.

 

Series is exec produced Stephen Levinson, Rob Weiss, Ian Edelman, Julian Farino, Jada Miranda and Mark Wahlberg.
