Letterman address Conan-Jay fracas on Tuesday's show
David Letterman, of course, has more than a passing interest in how NBC's latenight brouhaha turns out.
He was passed over for the job as host of "The Tonight Show" back in the early '90s when Jay Leno got the job and, judging from this clip from Tuesday's show, has almost a gleeful-like approach to the mess NBC has created.
Considering what he went through just a few months ago with his admission of sleeping with members of his staff, Dave seems like the stable one these days.
And CBS has to be loving this as it watches from afar. The network is certainly making Dave's opinions known to anyone willing to listen.

Variety's Team TV -- Cynthia Littleton, Stu Levine, Jon Weisman, Andrew Wallenstein and A.J. Marechal -- provides a roundup of stories big and small, as well as opinions and analysis from across the TV dial.

Love the rip on Carson Daly. He should have went on and targeted Fallon. Both are unfunny guys.
Is NBC the dumbest run network on television? I mean to go from number 1 in the 90s to last for a decade is baffling.
Too many MBAS running NBC/Universal and not enough creative types or guys with common sense. I guess you come last in ratings and grosses when you hire accountants as CEOS and Directors of Development.

You hve to hand it to Dave! He's crass with his old age... but his comments are spot on!
