Lifetime sets debut date for 'Army Wives'

Lifetime has set April 11 as the launch date for the fourth season of "Army Wives."

Female-skewing cabler has ordered 18 episodes of the series that is the most-watched skein in the net’s history. Third season, which concluded in October, outperformed the first two seasons in total viewers and women 25-34.

Series, produced by ABC Studios, is filmed in Charleston, S.C., and stars Kim Delaney. Mark Gordon, Deborah Spera, Jeff Melvoin, Marshall Persinger and Harry Bring are exec producers.
