Apparently missing the press attention, Octomom heads to "The View"

Octostarcover
Psst, Octomom: 2009 called. They need you back. And please take Jon Gosselin with you.

Just as Jon Gosselin is threatening to re-enter our lives -- seriously, thanks, TLC, for settling that suit -- "Octomom" Nadya Suleman was apparently missing the limelight as well. (You know, she's got a lot of free time on her hands, now that the octobabies have turned 1. Check out her Star magazine cover above.) Leave it to "The View" to solve that problem.

ABC announced Thursday that Suleman -- who actually, you may recall, has given birth to 47 children -- will appear on "The View" next Wednesday, Feb. 24. (It is still sweeps, after all.)

In a quote supplied by ABC, Suleman called the "View" ladies her "heroes." ABC said the visit would be Suleman's first to New York.

What? She's never been to New York? Oh yeah. Apparently she's been busy birthing 63 babies.

Here's more from ABC:
Ms. Suleman, who is a single mother, has been the subject of frequent “Hot Topics” discussions on “The View” since she gained international attention in 2009 for birthing octuplets, the second full set of octuplets to be born in the United States. A media storm erupted and she found herself facing negative backlash from the public, vandalism and even death threats when it was discovered that Ms. Suleman already had six other children, was unemployed and on public assistance. She conceived all her children via in vitro fertilization. The octuplets celebrated their first birthday in January.
As part of Suleman's appearance, EVERYBODY IN THE AUDIENCE WILL RECEIVE AN OCTOBABY! (Cue screams, whistles, applause.)
