"Phineas and Ferb": Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor stop by March 8
How cool is "Phineas and Ferb"? So cool that hip guest stars are lining up to do the Disney XD/Disney Channel toon.
Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor are looking to impress their kids by guesting on the March 8 edition. Stiller will play a super villain who tangles with Phineas and Ferb through a convoluted series of events (Dr. Doofenshmirtz and undoubtedly Agent P get involved too, natch). Taylor plays the super villain's nagging wife.
My daughter loves this show so much, and made me fall for it, that I was compelled to do story on the show and its creators, Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, for weekly Variety a few months back (click here to see me try to impress my daughter).
I just know her first garage band will rock out on the "Phineas and Ferb" theme song: "There's 104 days of summer va-ca-tion..."
