Set those TiVos: "Lost" finale gets an airdate

Lost-Season-6-Poster Will good triumph over evil? Will the castaways' alternative reality collide with their world on Craphole Island? What's the Man in Black, now inside Locke's body, up to?

So many questions, so little time. But we now know when we'll at least learn all that we'll ever learn: Sunday, May 23.

That's when the "Lost" finale to end all finales will air. "Lost" exec producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse revealed the airdate on Tuesday night's edition of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Not only does the scheduling give ABC a major Sunday night tentpole on the final Sunday of May sweeps, but it keeps the "Lost" finale away from Fox's always-high rated "American Idol."
