Fox saves comedy, adds "Sons of Tucson" to the kill pile

Sons-of-tucson
Fox has officially semi-officially killed its last two remaining live-action sitcoms.

Freshman laffer “Sons of Tucson” has been yanked off the sked. (It's not quite officially canceled yet, but... well, you get the drift.)

“Tucson” will now be burned off this summer, starting June 6, in the rough Sunday 7:30 p.m. slot. Fox has nine more episodes left of "Tucson" to go.

Animated laffer “American Dad” returns to the Sunday 9:30 slot starting April 11.

Also, as previously reported, “‘Til Death” is done after this season. Fox said the show’s series finale will take place on Sunday, June 20. Now THAT show is officially canceled.

Keeping fingers crossed that "'Til Death" lives up to its name -- and ends with the bloody demise of the show's lead characters. Now THAT'S how you end a show!
