Kids are people too: 'Adventure Time' renewed

 Only a few days following its premiere, "Adventure Time" has been given a second-season pickup by Cartoon Network.Adventure_Time-702263

Toon launched Monday and was No. 1 in the 8 p.m. timeslot in many of the kids demos, including boys 2-11, 6-11 and 9-14.

Skein, produced though Frederator Studios, now receives a fresh 13-episode order in addition to the 13 episodes greenlit for season one. Plot involves unlikely heroes who travel through a mystical land and meet various inhabitants.

Voices cast include Henry Rollins, Mark Hamill, George Takei, Lou Ferrigno and Erik Estrada.
