And another one: Fox picks up Will Arnett's "Wilde Kingdom"
"Wilde Kingdom" -- the Will Arnett pilot that almost collapsed when Sony Pictures TV pulled out -- has been given a series order by Fox.
Laffer, now produced by Lionsgate (along with Tantamount, the Eric Tannenbaum/Kim Tannenbaum/Mitch Hurwitz enterprise), stars Arnett as a jerk in Beverly Hills who falls in love with someone with real values (Keri Russell).
Stefania Owen, Jayne Houdyshell and Joseph A. Nunez also star.
Hurwitz, the Tannenbaums and Jim Vallely exec produce, along with Peter Principato and Paul Young.
Pickup is an "Arrested Development" reunion for Fox, which previously earned raves for that show, which came from Hurwitz and counted Arnett as one of its stars.
Vallely, Hurwitz and Arnett wrote the pilot, while Joe Russo directed.

Variety's Team TV -- Cynthia Littleton, Stu Levine, Jon Weisman, Andrew Wallenstein and A.J. Marechal -- provides a roundup of stories big and small, as well as opinions and analysis from across the TV dial.
