'Hot in Cleveland' posts TV Land's best-ever ratings
Once again, everything Betty White touches turns to gold these days.
TV Land’s first original sitcom, “Hot in Cleveland,” scored TV Land's most-watched telecast ever, attracting 4.8 million viewers on Wednesday night (according to Nielsen fast nationals).
According to the cabler, the show averaged 2 million viewers among the network’s target adults 25-54 aud, and 1.6 million adults 18-49.
Not a bad week for Sean Hayes, who is just coming off hosting CBS' Tony Awards. Hayes exec produces “Hot in Cleveland” along with Todd Milliner, while Suzanne Martin is executive producer, show runner and writer.
Show stars a whos-who of 1980s and 1990s TV stars: Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and superstar White.
Hey, can someone fly Betty White to the Gulf? Maybe she's the answer to that mess. (I dunno how, but don't bet against Betty White.)

Variety's Team TV -- Cynthia Littleton, Stu Levine, Jon Weisman, Andrew Wallenstein and A.J. Marechal -- provides a roundup of stories big and small, as well as opinions and analysis from across the TV dial.
