Valerie Bertinelli, Rove McManus tape talk show pilot for CBS

Rove  Valerie

The CBS daytime bake-off just got even more crowded. Popular Australian TV host Rove McManus has shot a pilot alongside Valerie Bertinelli -- hot off the success of TV Land's new "Hot in Cleveland" -- for CBS TV Distribution.

The pilot joins other shows in contention at the Eye to fill the void left by "As the World Turns," including a foodie gamer hosted by Emeril Lagasse; a mommy-centric gabber fronted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and others; and a reworking of "Pyramid" hosted by Andy Richter. McManus, by the way, is no relation to CBS News and Sports topper Sean McManus.
