Breaking: FTVS head Calemzuk ankles for Shine Group
From one Murdoch to another: Fox TV Studios prexy Emiliano Calemzuk has ankled his post and joined Shine Group Americas as CEO.
The appointment of Calemzuk in this newly created position was announced Thursday morning by Shine Group CEO/chair Elisabeth Murdoch.
Calemzuk will now oversee all Shine operations in the Americas—including Reveille, the L.A.-based shingle responsible for hits like “The Office” and “The Biggest Loser,” as well as new reality entry “MasterChef.”
Calemzuk also joins Shine’s exec board. He officially joins in mid-September and will be based in Los Angeles.
Topping the list of execs likely to replace Calemzuk: FTVS exec VP David Madden, who's been behind much of the shingle's recent programming successes. FTVS is behind USA’s “Burn Notice” and “White Collar,” as well as TNT’s “Saving Grace.” FTVS also produces Fox’s fall entry “The Good Guys.”
