CBS announces premiere date for 'The Talk'

CBS has picked a day to sit down and start "The Talk" with viewers: Monday, Oct. 18.

Show, which "examines topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of six female co-hosts who are all mothers," will air weekdays at 2 p.m. ET and 1 p.m. PT (although that varies, market by market).

Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur co-host "The Talk." Brad Bessey, Gilbert and John Redmann are executive producers.
