Superproducers Ryan Murphy, Howard Gordon team up for Fox

Murphy Gordon

Mega showrunners Ryan Murphy (“Glee”) and Howard Gordon (“24”) are teaming up to create a new procedural drama that appears destined for Fox.

Given the auspices, Fox is expected to give a put pilot committment to the untitled drama. Murphy and Gordon just pitched the show through 20th Century Fox TV, where they’re both based.

The duo are mum on details, but the hour-long is believed to be a character-driven procedural that centers on an organization or clinic that forces people to face their worst fears and phobias.

The Murphy-Gordon pairing could rep the TV equivalent of a supergroup, given both scribes’ track records as showrunners over the past decade. Both scribes will write and exec produce the project together.
