ABC skates right into 'Country Christmas' on Nov. 29

ABC will air the 90-minute special "CMA Country Christmas" at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 29, following the second segment of the network's new reality competish series, "Skating With the Stars."

Brad Paisley (right), Darius Rucker, LeAnn Rimes, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Sheryl Crow and Sugarland are among the featured guests scheduled to appear on the special, exec produced by Robert Deaton and directed by Paul Miller.

ABC is also showing "The 44th Annual CMA Awards" on Nov. 10, with Paisley and Carrie Underwood hosting. Meanwhile, Fox announced the nominees for its rival spesh, the inaugural "American Country Awards," which will air Dec. 6. Lady Antebellum and Easton Corbin each drew seven nominations, while Underwood had six and Miranda Lambert and Josh Turner five. Bob Bain is exec producing.
