Bravo orders Jewel/Kara DioGuardi reality competish
Bravo has ordered 10 episodes of a music competish series fronted by "American Idol" alum Kara DioGuardi and thrush Jewel.
"Going Platinum" will focus on a group of 12 aspiring singer-songwriters as they're put through the paces of writing and recording an original tune. The end game is a $100,000 prize and recording pact with RCA/Jive and publishing deal with Sony.
Jewel will serve as host while DioGuardi will be back in the familiar position as judge.
Series from True Entertainment is set to bow next year.
