EXCLUSIVE: 'Celebrity Bowling' is back!
Once a hot TV commodity during recessionary times, celebrity bowling is poised for a comeback.
Spin Cycle Media is selling half-hour weekly syndie series “Stars & Strikes,” which will be available to air in the spring.
Shot on location at Lucky Strike Bowling in the L.A. Live complex adjacent to Staples Center, “Stars & Strikes” is the brainchild of former “Celebrity Bowling” producer Don Gregory.
Each celebrity be paired with a member of the studio audience, who will win prizes if their celebrity triumphs. Also, the celebrity may be asked to skip their turn and their audience-appointed partner will be asked to bowl.
Celebrities scheduled to participate include Flavor Flav (above), Antonio Sabato Jr., Tim Conway, Dan Cortese, Terrell Owens and Shannon Elizabeth.
Spin Cycle Media is currently offering the series to stations throughout the U.S. for a 50-50 barter split. Gregory, Chuck Simon and Chris Cusack are exec producers.

Variety's Team TV -- Cynthia Littleton, Stu Levine, Jon Weisman, Andrew Wallenstein and A.J. Marechal -- provides a roundup of stories big and small, as well as opinions and analysis from across the TV dial.
