Hach has a 'Plan' at ABC

Heather Hach has sold half-hour single-camera comedy “Plan This” to ABC.

Script is loosely based on the life of Mindy Weiss, a prominent L.A. party planner to the stars.

ABC Studios is producing with Anonymous Content. Alex Goldstone and Elana Barry are exec producers, with Hach getting a co-exec producer credit. Weiss will act as a consultant.

Hach was a writer on “Freaky Friday,” telepic “Legally Blonde: The Musical” and is attached to the upcoming Lionsgate film “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.”

Weiss’ Beverly Hills-based firm has organized weddings and parties for clients that include Ellen DeGeneres, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez. She is also the author of “The Wedding Book: The Big Book for Your Big Day.”
