NBC develops comedies from Ricky Blitt and Happy Madison

Nbc logo Adam Sandler's Happy Madison shingle has landed a doctor's office comedy at NBC, while the Peacock is also developing an ensemble sitcom from "Family Guy" alum Ricky Blitt.

Both projects, which received script plus penalty orders, come from Sony Pictures TV.

Blitt As for the untitled Blitt project, comedy (formerly titled "Still Not Married") is told from a male point of view about being single at age 40.

Blitt, who was behind last season's short-lived Alyssa Milano comedy "Romantically Challenged," is the writer and exec producer. Blitt's credits also include "The Winner."
