VH1 gives Patridge a chance to tell her story
“The Hills” legacy lives on.
VHI, sister net of MTV, has pacted with Audrina Patridge for a reality show that will spotlight her and her family.
After appearing for several seasons as Justin Bobby’s on and off girlfriend on MTV’s seminal reality series that was all rage for the teen and twentysomething set before “Jersey Shore” came along, the thinking is Patridge has enough clout and popularity to go out on her own.
Mark Burnett is set to exec produce with Patridge and Dave Fleming.
Only a few weeks ago, Lauren Conrad — the impetus for “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” — signed up with MTV for a new reality series that will take an inside look at her fashion empire.
“I am so excited to be rejoining the MTV family,” she said. “The new project will follow me as I develop my new contemporary line and also touch on my other businesses.”

Variety's Team TV -- Cynthia Littleton, Stu Levine, Jon Weisman, Andrew Wallenstein and A.J. Marechal -- provides a roundup of stories big and small, as well as opinions and analysis from across the TV dial.
