Dr. Drew answers HLN's call
Dr. Drew Pinsky is about to be dishing out advice on HLN.
Renown physician, who has become a reality staple in recent years, has been hired by the Turner cabler for a primetime show that has yet to be titled. Program, in which he will cover a broad range of subjects, will launch in spring 2011.
Pinsky and VH1 have become partners on several shows, including "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew," "Sober House" and "Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew." He has also been a radio personality for decades fielding callers' sexual questions on "Loveline."
"Dr. Drew informs and inspires audiences on subjects that matter most to them and their families, and he is an ideal fit for the HLN network," said network topper Scott Safon. "Whether the topics are in the news or simply in the daily lives of our audience, Dr. Drew will shed light, provide crucial information and give viewers something to talk and think about."
