TruTV has given a second-season order to "Hardcore Pawn," which follows the action inside a Detroit pawn shop and the family that runs it.
Pickup was no surprise; "Hardcore Pawn" gave TruTV its biggest series launch ever, back in August. TruTV has now picked up eight more episodes of the show, which comes from Zodiak USA.
“This summer, truTV viewers fell in love with 'Hardcore Pawn,' from the Gold family and their staff to the incredible array of customers who come through the doors of American Jewelry and Loan,” said Marc Juris, executive vice president and general manager of TruTV.
"Hardcore Pawn" launched with 2.1 million viewers and more than 1 million adults 18-49. Show is exec produced by Natalka Znak, Claire O’Donohoe, Mike Gamson, Richard Dominick and Anthony Horn.
