'Lights Out' sees the light
FX has a debut date for its next new drama.
Boxing skein “Lights Out” will premiere Jan. 11. Thirteen-episode series, which has already been shot and will be sent to critics soon, stars Holt McCallany as Patrick ‘Lights’ Leary, an aging heavyweight who is struggling in his decision whether to retire.
Show co-stars Stacy Keach, Catherine McCormack and Pablo Schreiber. Pilot was directed by Clark Johnson and Norberto Barba.
Showrunner Warren Leight (“In Treatment,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”) is exec producer with Ross Fineman, Phillip Noyce and Justin Zackham, who created the series.
On the toon front, second season of “Archer” is set to debut Jan. 27. Cabler upped the episode order from 10 to 13 for season two.
Timothy Olyphant-starrer “Justified” is awaiting a premiere date for its second season. News should arrive in the next week or two.
