NBC to air 'Despicable Me' mini-movie
NBC will debut portions of its upcoming “Despicable Me” mini-movie during two of its reality franchises.
Viewers will get a first glimpse of “Banana,” the “Despicable Me” short that will be included on “Despicable Me’s” DVD and Blu-ray release, on the Dec. 7 edition of Peacock gamer “Minute to Win It.”
The short will then run in its entirety during NBC’s competish series “The Sing-Off” on Dec. 8.
The Dec. 7 episode of “Minute to Win It” will heavily promote the “Despicable Me” release, peppering the movie’s “minions” characters throughout the program.
“Banana” is one of three shorts that will appear on the “Despicable Me” DVD/Blu-ray, along with “Orientation” and “Home Makeover.” The DVD and Blu-ray are released on Dec. 14.
