NBC shortens its 'Chase'

Chase
NBC has downsized its order for "Chase."

The show, which had been given a full-season order, will now produce 18 segs. Standard full season pickup is 22 -- so this is the absolute edge of a "full-season" pickup. Insiders stressed that "Chase" is still an active show.

Warner Bros. TV is behind the show, which returns on Jan. 12, moving to Wednesdays at 9 p.m.
