The latest on Charlie Sheen

What to make of the latest Charlie Sheen drama?

As of this writing, Sheen was on the set of "Two and a Half Men" and there were no immediate plans to shut down production. It is true that CBS and Warner Bros. TV were concerned enough last week about Sheen's physical condition to seriously consider the possiblity of shutting down production.

Sheen spokesman Stan Rosenfield isn't talking, but he was clearly miffed to read early ayem online reports that Sheen hadn't shown up for work Tuesday. At least Stan hasn't lost his sense of humor, as demonstrated by this statement.

"I keep reading that Charlie Sheen did not show up for work today. I read those remarks two hours before his scheduled time of arrival. Charlie Sheen arrived at work today on time.
Memo to Chicken Little: The sky remains in place."
