NBC first look: 'Go On'

Matthew Perry, whose most recent series regular role was for ABC's Mr. Sunshine, makes another go of it as the star of new sitcom "Go On" for NBC, which also features "The Playboy Club" alumna Laura Benanti. Perry plays a sportscaster trying to get his life back on track after the death of his wife in a car accident. (Presumably, unlike recent NBC casualty "Awake," this is the only life he has to get back on track.

Former "Friends," "Joey" and "Perfect Couples" exec producer Soctt Silveri is behind "Go On," which also stars Julie White, Khary Payton, Suzy Nakamura and Allison Miller ("Terra Nova"). The laffer will air at 9 p.m. Tuesdays.
