Peters and Cerenzie making deals for mobile company GetFugu

Getfugu Just a few weeks ago, mobile search, marketing and commerce company Getfugu signaled it was interested in the content business by recruiting Google's former game evangelist Bernie Stolar to be its new CEO.

Now its focusing directly on Hollywood by signing CF Productions, the production company headed by Christine Peters and Michael Cerenzie, to help it make partnerships in town. GetFugu, essentially, wants to get fashion, celebrity, comedy, music, and sports companies on board with its technology, that lets users buy products or get discounts and other related content from their phone by aiming its camera at a logo, saying a brand name into it, or clicking while watching mobile video.

"Both Christine and Micahel bring years of experience and knowledge of Hollywood and have already demonstrated their ability to lock down some major deals," Stolar said in a statement.

Peters is also joining the board of GetFugu, which is aiming to launch its technology to the public in the fall.
