Adidas Goes Old School (L.A.)
Impossible as it seems with the incessant buzz around Marc Jacobs’ just-opened Melrose Place stores, the designer isn’t the only one making news around that neighborhood lately. Adidas has debuted its first L.A. Originals store on Melrose Avenue. Sorry, no Stella McCartney for Adidas wares here (check the Concept store in Santa Monica), but shoppers will find all manner of old school-inspired, three-striped gear like Missy Elliot-designed sneakers and classic duffel bags. 8009 Melrose Ave., (323) 658-6091
