Sweet Lips
Maybe it’s because they resemble those Creamsicle ice-cream bars you used to devour as a kid. Whatever it is, there’s something inherently fun about Smashbox’s new tinted lipsticks, on sale in May. Available in half a dozen hues with an SPF 15, shea-butter center, the product gives a sheer wash of color while providing relief for parched, cracked lips. It’s even infused with a bit of honey, making for one sweet treat. $16, smashbox.com

What a Waist
In the world of accessory fetishes, poor belts never get a fair shake. How can they possibly compete with shoes and handbags? Well, if they look like Kudra Studios’ new, artsy wide sashes they can. L.A.-based designer Amy Di LaMarra (a former musicvid costume designer) embellished the accessory simply, with one beautiful vintage brass buckle. The hardware’s art nouveau stylings lend sophistication to the buttery leather belt, which is available in caramel, aqua and tangerine. Artsy stuff aside, it looks super-hot when worn low. $110, luvcharlie.com or kudrastudios.com

Celine and Chloe Steals on the Strip (L.A.)
It might just be one of the best-kept secrets in the sample-sale biz. Twice a year, former stylist Lisa Moffi sets up a high-end, renegade boutique that opens for about a month -- featuring steals from Balenciaga, Chloe, Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez, Celine and more -- and then shuts down. She recently set up camp in one of the bungalows at the Sunset Marquis and will be there through May 6. And unlike other free-for-all sales, Moffi and crew pride themselves on customer service (which means they’ll actually help you to a dressing area). Monday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m., (213) 840-1664

Fashion That’s Short and Sweet
Nothing says "spring" like Bermuda shorts, and while those high-fashion versions seen at the Jil Sander and Prada shows are great for the runway, chances are you probably aren’t integrating shorts into the office wardrobe. But for the weekend, you’ll want to pick up Landes Daily’s classic new Bermuda shorts (J.Lo is a big fan) in timeless Madras plaid, which were inspired by the all-American style of the Kennedys while at Hyannisport. Sport a pair with flip-flops and a tank, and you’ll be set for any leisurely Saturday. $128, pinkmascara.com

Anti-Aging Acupuncture (L.A.)
Talk about a prickly sensation. The just-opened spa at the Equinox Fitness Center in Santa Monica has unveiled its latest treatment: the acupuncture facial. Rather than treating back problems or muscle tension, your face will be pinpointed, so to speak, for trouble areas, such as sagging cheeks and bags around the eyes. Proponents say the process knocks off years by improving circulation and collagen production. Pair it with the spa’s restorative balancing treatment, featuring an Ayurvedic massage with Sundari products, or the sunless tanning with Dead-Sea salt scrub, and you’ve got the ultimate holistic pampering package. Sex, Shoes and Rock ’n’ Roll
A little bit Gucci, a little bit rock ’n’ roll, the new LD Tuttle line of shoes from designers Tiffany Tuttle and Richard Lidinsky will have footwear fiends lusting for more space their closets. A highlight of the collection -- set to hit stores like L.A.’s Aero & Co. and Gotham’s 30Vandam later this summer -- is the Translator flat with ribbon ties, which updates an of-the-moment trend (the ballet flat) with a healthy dose of Tom Ford-era sexy (recall the designer’s lace-up heels for Gucci’s fall ’02 collection). Also look for the Astronomer and Soothsayer, very hot boots with cutout details. Prices start at $320. ldtuttle.com

Summer Fling With Mandy Moore
Not that you’ll find the Fountain of Youth in a T-shirt, but this summery, citrus-hued confection from Mandy Moore’s latest Mblem collection will definitely, um, perk up your grown-up wardrobe. Strewn with seashells streaming from a bicycle, the shirt will have you pining for the carefree days of your 20s. Previewing the Ultimate Power Suit (NYC)
Trunk shows probably don’t top an alpha-male exec’s list of things to do, but if there’s one show movers and shakers should check out, it’s Kiton at Bergdorf today and tomorrow. The Italian house’s superb suits far surpass any old notion of a power suit, set apart by exquisite fabrics (vicunas, cashmeres) and workmanship passed down from generations of master Neapolitan tailors. But it’ll cost you -- upwards of $6,000, in fact -- for the made-to-measure treatment. Kiton sportswear and other men’s furnishings will also be shown. (212) 753-7300

Shu Uemura's Gold Standard Rumor has it the CEO of Sephora often credits his company’s fortune to sales of Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler. Yes, the miracle tool is just that dominant and it's commemorating 15 years on the beauty scene with a 24-carat version. A luxe case also comes with the upgraded curler, which started out as a makeup-artist fave and has since landed in the cosmetics bags of in-the-know beauty buffs everywhere. $37,
