Fashionable Flea-Market Finds (L.A.)
No better opportunity to trawl a flea market than a leisurely three-day weekend. This time, step it up a notch from the usual musty old sofas and granola-hippie clothes with premium goods at Peddler on the Roof. Held every Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., the rooftop event features vendors that even the most die-hard Barneys shoppers would love. Choose from such wares as Teenage Millionaire’s hipster tees (worn by the likes of Demi and Madonna) and Patricia Candido’s beautifully crafted bracelets. 1423 Gordon St., (323) 860-7109

I LOVE this event!
They have great vendors, and the location (the top floor of a parking garage with a really cool view) is terrific!
If you haven't been yet, go!

Shu Uemura's Gold Standard Rumor has it the CEO of Sephora often credits his company’s fortune to sales of Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler. Yes, the miracle tool is just that dominant and it's commemorating 15 years on the beauty scene with a 24-carat version. A luxe case also comes with the upgraded curler, which started out as a makeup-artist fave and has since landed in the cosmetics bags of in-the-know beauty buffs everywhere. $37,
