Food Network is holding an open casting call in Los Angeles for the fourth season of "The Next Food Network Star" on Monday, Sept. 17. It runs from 10 am-4 pm at Chef's Inc., 10955 W. Pico Blvd. To audition, you'll need to fill out this application and bring it along with two photos and a resume/bio.
You also need a notion of how to show people how to cook. And jazz hands. Kidding. What you really need, according to the Food Network: "We are all about personality – show us yours!"
Was there today, @ 10AM there were about two dozen folks. I was in and out of the "interview" in three minutes -- hopefully the cookies I left with my résumé will make some sorta impression (and a callback!) If not, it was at least a good excuse to drive out to Culver City & eat at La Dijonaise.
