Craft suffers blow to its pursuit of world domination

Craft won't be hosting the Vanity Fair Oscar party after all, because there's not going to be a Vanity Fair Oscar party. From Variety's intrepid Bill Higgins:

Spokesperson Beth Kseniak said that though the Writers Guild strike appears close to being settled, the mag had still decided to pull the plug.

“Even though the strike might end, that doesn’t necessarily mean things are going to return to normal immediately,” said Kseniak. “It’s been a bad couple of months for a lot of different people and it didn’t seem like the appropriate time to throw a big party.”
