Who else thinks Joan's On Third could use some competition?

Milk has great coffee. They have homemade ice cream. And, by god, they cater. And they cater well.

I found this in a Variety conference room this afternoon. Roasted corn salad with moist fried chicken breast, parmesan crisps topped with rare roast beef, horseradish mushrooms, arugula and parmesan, the heirloom tomato salad you see above with an excellent basil lemon dressing... I wasn't invited to the luncheon. I ate anyway. For a place that appears so small and unassuming, Milk is a force to be reckoned with.

Milk on Beverly Blvd. has the best lattes in Los Angeles.

Milk

You are welcome to disagree, although I'd ask that you try Milk's first. They use coffee from LA Mill in Alhambra. However, Milk will have a fierce competitor for the latte title when LA Mill owner Craig Min opens his own coffee shop in Silver Lake later this year.
