Ballroomers take the L train

Brooklyn will have a new concert venue come September.

A little later than planned, the Music Hall of Williamsburg will open its doors Sept. 4 with a concert by Patti Smith. The former Northsix - at the devilish address of 66 6th St. in Brooklyn, is a 550-capacity venue that will be run by Bowery Ballroom owners the Bowery Presents. Venue has been thoroughly redesigned.

The Bowery Presents has been promoting shows in Brooklyn at McCarren Park Pool and Keyspan Park in Coney Island. Josh Moore is booking the venue, which will announce more shows on July 10 at their Web site.
