eMusic is on the phone.
eMusic, the second-biggest digital music retailer behind you-know-who, pacted with AT&T to open up its catalog to cell phone subscribers. The download service specializes in indie fare and offers some songs that aren't available on iTunes.
Users will be able to download five songs per month for $7.49. Every song downloaded can be transferred to a harddrive or iPod.
