Comedy Central roasted Flavor Flav, the Public Enemy timekeeper turned reality TV star, on Sunday night with a handful of comics he had never met, a former paramour and a pair of rap artists. As Jeff Ross asked: "How do you embarrass a crackhead with a viking helmet?"
Naturally, the bulk of the jokes involved sexual practices and appetites. Jokes about Flav focused on his dark complexion, his height and offspring (seven kids from six women, or so it seemed). More time was spent abusing the other members of the dais than Flav and Snoop Dogg's insults, which followed his considerable consumption of cognac, are actually repeatable.

On Carrot Top: "Who Let the Bride of Chucky into this place?" On Ross: "He's the Jewish dude everybody hates ... Wanna be my lawyer?" To Patton Oswalt: "I demand reparations." On Ice-T: "He's old I tried to download one of his songs but I didn't have a casette player." On Jimmy Kimmel: Noting that a "jimmy" is slang for a condom, he cross-references it to Kimmel's show. "Jimmy is a scumbag and nobody enjoys it when it's on." On Brigitte Nielsen: "I saw you taking a bath with Flav on TV. The two of you were all washed up before you got on TV." Comedy Central airs the roast on Aug. 12.
