Eagles Take Pricing To The Limit

Eagles_2 Turns out the Eagles “Long Road out of Eden” is actually a two-CD set with 20 tracks. Joe Walsh has been quoted saying he supplied some rockers to keep it from being too ballad heavy; might he be contributing four or five tunes to the effort? We old-timers who still thrill to James Gang records and know all the words to "Meadows" certainly hope so.Wal-mart is treating it like a single disc however in the pricing as the retailer plans to offer the CD for $11.88. Online at Wal-mart.com, it will be even cheaper: $10.88. That's 54 cents per track, which takes the term loss leader to a seemingly absurd level.
