That rumored Led Zeppelin reunion may still be on the back burner, but Robert Plant is keeping busy. He's teaming with bluegrass superstar Alison Krauss for the album Raising Sand, scheduled for release October 23 on Rounder Records.

The 13-song set was recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by the great T Bone Burnett. On it the pair will interpret lesser-known blues, R&B, country and folk nuggets from the likes of Mel Tillis, Townes Van Zandt, Tom Waits and the Everly Brothers.

Sand features such renowned sessionmen as guitarists Marc Ribot and Norman Blake, drummer Jay Bellerose, and bassist Dennis Crouch
