In just one day of sales after the Republican vice presidential candidate and the Brit songstress appeared on “Saturday Night Live,” Adele’s “19” nearly tripled in sales. The album, released in the U.S.on Columbia, sold 11,000 copies a week after it had done a mere 4,000. It skyrocketed from No. 129 to No. 46, according to Nielsen Soundscan data.
