Antony and the Johnsons will become the latest act to perform with orchestral accompaniment in one of the LA Phil's homes, in this case Walt Disney Concert Hall on Oct. 14.
Antony follows similar shows by Grizzly Bear, Bright Eyes and Belle & Sebastian. They will  perform with a 20-piece orchestra conducted by James Holmes, with arrangements by Antony and Nico Muhly.  Antony and the Johnsons’ EP "Another World" will be released by Secretly Canadian on Oct. 7.
Antony and the Johnsons are scheduled to perform with the Oregon Symphony in September.
Antony is currently collaborating with Muhly (conductor, co-arranger) and presenting a series of symphonic concerts in Europe and the U.S. this fall. Their next album,  “The Crying Light” will be released in January.
